A professionally remanufactured 6.6L Duramax long block for 2001-2016 Chevy/GMC (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML) with a new Callies Compstar/Durastar crankshaft and a Stage 1 alternate firing order (AFO) camshaft. It's built to handle stock (360-397 HP) to over 700 HP without major modifications.

Why an AFO Cam?
The stock firing order (1-2-7-8-4-5-6-3) loads the front third of the crank, a common cause of broken cranks in 2007-2016, higher-horsepower engines. The AFO cam (1-5-6-3-4-2-7-8) spreads combustion along the crank and toward the flexplate. That can extend crank life and steady the engine for more power, though it isn't a major power gain on its own. We only offer it with a new Callies crank, because a used crank is already stressed. We don't recommend it. That's why this package pairs the AFO cam with a new Callies crankshaft.
